Steps to Selling a Home

Selling your Denver or Boulder home is easy when you follow the following steps:

1. Interview and select your seller’s agent.

2. Sign Colorado right-to-sell contract with agent.

3. Make any necessary repairs and stage your home.

4. Agent takes pictures, lists your property with the Denver metro area MLS, and executes the marketing plan.

5. Agent exposes home to other agents and buyers.

6. Receive offer to purchase.

7. Agent negotiates terms of offer on your behalf.

8. You and buyer come to an agreement and sign contract to sell.

9. Buyer conducts inspections.

10. Make any necessary repairs agreed to.

11. Closing – sign all papers and transfer ownership.

12. Receive your check for the proceeds of the sale!
